know us
Imagine all agencies, modes, and operators working in concert to bring about a transportation ecosystem that is socially equitable, environmentally responsible, and user-friendly.
Who we are
This is Lacuna’s highest ambition and the inspiration that powers our work. A remarkable assemblage of experts in technology, mobility, government, city planning, and public policy, we believe deeply in transportation’s extraordinary power to shape and improve human lives—and that we can help usher in a new age through the creation of what we call a Transportation Operating System (tOS).
What we do
Everything we create is with the tOS end state in mind. Our digital tools were designed to build bridges between the public and private sectors, providing municipalities with the means to govern transportation dynamically and enterprises the means to innovate. Our ultimate goal is to drive outcomes that matter—sustainability, equity, and economic health—for all stakeholders.
Certifications
Governments, operators, and other partners cannot compromise on data privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity. Our variety of certifications and compliances give every stakeholder the confidence that their data is safe.
SOC 2 Type II Compliant
This is an industry gold standard for security and privacy, underscoring our commitment to data protection and individual privacy architected into Lacuna's product portfolio from the ground up.
ISO 27001 Certified
This standard tells our public agency and private enterprise partners that Lacuna is at the leading edge of risk mitigation, measurement and monitoring, and staff training as technology evolves.

Idea Lab
Transportation is getting more complex every day
We’ve got a lot to say about the possibilities for mobility that’s easier for public agencies to govern, provides opportunities for innovation and investment to private partners, and bring more equitable, sustainable, and high-quality transportation options to residents.
